There are plenty of ways to skin a cat and even more ways of building IoT weather stations! Most are for advanced users and come with some security precautions that might be hard to implement. Clem builds an Arduino weather station and instead of struggling with port forwarding and web server coding, he uses the Arduino IoT cloud service to make his life easier!

    Ok thank you for the clear answer, the MKR WiFi 101 arrives next wednesday. Presumably it will be better. Greetings Henny

    these libraries are not compatible with Esp32, they work only on the arduino MKR wifi 1010 used in the video. For an esp32 you need to use its corresponding wifi libraries and Esp32 native Deepsleep functionality.
    So a rewrite of the code is needed for your version.

    Hello, when i add these includes in the Sketch there are hundreds of error messages. I can not show the messages here, that was not allowed. I have imported these libraries. What is wrong? The Arduino board is not connected, I'm waiting for the delivery. I temporarily opted for an ESP32 board. This is my first sketch in the IOT Cloud.

    #include <ArduinoLowPower.h>
    #include <WiFiNINA.h>
    #include <utility/wifi_drv.h>

    Greetings Henny

    Nice start.

    I just bought a bunch of sensors during Amazon Prime day so hopefully I can share my experience with them as I play around.

    hi DAB, as a first experiment I made a LED light up. WORKS!! Now I go on to do less trivial things. the DHT11 is only powered, I haven't connected the output yet. greetings to all.imageimageimage

    Thank you very much, Great Project! I have been retired for a few months, after a life spent in contact with industrial automation. To keep my brain healthy, I am now interested in the iot world, in particular I am studying applications with Arduino Nano 33 iot. Your video impressed me a lot and opened new frontiers for new ideas.
