How about an IoT record player? When you tell it to play a record, it checks the Youtube pages of AvE, Big Clive, EEVblog, Fran Blanche, Naomi Wu, Simone Giertz, and The Signal Path. If all of them have released videos within the last 5 minutes, it starts playing the record at normal speed. Otherwise, it uses a Geiger counter and radioactive isotope to decide whether to play the record at half or double speed. Quantum physics would say the record is playing at both double and half speed at the same time, until it turns on the speakers and the superposition collapses...

An IoT device which will connect to your IoT light-bulbs and IoT stereo system and of course your phone equipped with proper APP. Whenever you turn ON or OFF your lights in your appartment, it will play from the stereo announcement about the light status (e.g. "Your lights are now turned off!") and it will notify you on your phone too.
As premium, you can add friends in your APP and they will receive the notifications too.

IoT device that switches off lights etc as soon as you switch them on.

IoT mortality indicator device that informs you that you have just expired.
(Preferably in an 70's arcade game 'Game Over' style.)

IoT device that informs you that planet Earth has just been destroyed by a Vogon constructor fleet.
