Matt is a huge fan of the Twilight Zone, so for Halloween, he's decided to build a classic prop from the old series with a modern twist! The original Mystic Seer was a coin-operated fortune telling machine created for the 1960 episode "Nick of Time". Will this new, electronic fortune teller actually predict the future?

This video was a lot of fun to build and produce that I kinda want to do another Twilight Zone build for next Halloween.

Which prop should I tackle next?

    Talky Tina?

    The "Long Distance Call" telephone?

    The "Fugitive" wand?

    "A Most Unusual Camera"?

    A "time-freezing" stopwatch?

A slot machine that turns you into "The Prime Mover"?

The camera and stopwatch both sound cool, but really hard. How do you predict the future or stop time? Maybe something with VR/AR?

The first thing I thought of with the watch is basically turning it into a universal remote. Push the button and it sends the "play/pause" signal. Cheesy, yes, but it would "technically" stop time.

The camera seems more ambitious: probably have to come up with some silly AR layering and then print that as the photo. Still might be fun if it can be done.
