Ever have someone barge in on you while you are recording? Well, I have a solution for that! In this episode, we are going to build a DIY wireless Recording light that mounts outside your studio and you can trigger it from the remote at your desk. Utilizing Particle Mesh technology, this device can be expanded to trigger other devices such as your camera, or audio recording device.

    Wow! Nice project but very expensive for DIY. Without the LEDS, the cost from Element 14 is over AUD$300. Sorry but DIY is about saving a few dollars. I can buy a ready made solution for that money.

    mudgel  DIY does sometimes cost me more BUT... I really resonate with KalebTheMaker's "It's not my style."

    It also makes me think of a segment from comedian Jamie Lissow on Craft Projects.  https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2544299905589792   The part I'm thinking of starts 3 minutes into this clip.

    Not that this segment has anything to do with the project.  It's just the way my mind works.  And I like to laugh.
