The PEAK DCA Pro is a compact semiconductor analyzer. The DCA75 finds pinouts, determines specs and does curve tracing. Oh, and it is fast. In this video, James shows how well it works with BJTs, MOSFETs, LEDs, and even Voltage regulators.

James talks more about MOSFET datasheets, the curves you find, and how to read them in this element14 post. Check it out: Reading MOSFET Curves

Supplemental Content:

ESR70 Capacitance and ESR Analyzer

TLC, How Transistors Work

TLC, How FETs function

TLC, How Diodes Work

If you make that video of tools that make great gift ideas, can you make your target audience the people who love the people who love the tools?  I could pass a video like that along to my wife.  If you…

Great idea. No kididng, my mom sent me a message saying, "that gift idea would be really nice for me to know what to get you!" So I'll take those two votes as a thumbs up.

IKEA Algot. Unfortuantely, they are discontinuing the system. I found out when I went to expand the bench. Hopefully it gets replaced with something similar.

At this point, the phase out has been over a year and no announced replacement.

    Superb video.

To bad that the PEAK device does not have include interpolation (on the Windows graph).

The lines are kind-a-sharp (sorry, but I'm spoiled w/the Keysight B1500A).

However, for the money - this device is great.

    Again, love your video!

What kind of workbench is that in the background (brand)?

    Great lookin' bench!

    Thanks again,  Jim

    Thanks
