The theme this month is Circuit Prototype Techniques. You can work on any project that you can use to demonstrate your circuit prototyping techniques, it can be real or be simulated.
Examples include using alligator test cables when you just need to make simple temporary circuits or need to connect just a few components together, jump wires, and breadboard. It can involve point to point wiring using tag boards or terminal strips, dead bug prototyping to get a project up quickly, freeform circuitry as part of electronic art, veroboard, Manhattan style circuit construction, Extreme prototype board wiring techniques, and printed circuit boards.
This has been a hot topic of discussion on the community: Strip Board - Is it the best prototyping board? and Copper Clad Prototyping Tools. The possibilities are endless.
