Choose the right 7 Series FPGA or SoC for your new design - Register for a Chance to Win a Cora Z7 board!

imageBack in November 2022, AMD announced that all 7 Series FPGAs and SoCs would have their lifecycle extended through at least 2035. While this is great news for anyone who already has 7 Series in their existing products, you may be wondering if it makes sense to start new designs with 7 Series. Yes! Absolutely! This webinar will show where 7 Series provides the most optimal value and performance in your designs, contrasting this with some of the newer families like Artix UltraScale+ and Zynq UltraScale+.

What You Will Learn By Attending:

  • Learn the details about the 2035 7 Series Extension
  • Explore the differences between families and choose 7 Series device for your new design
  • Check out available resources, like Webpages, Dev Boards and Trainings
  • Answer a survey for a chance to win one of five Digilent Cora Z7 Boards!

Bryan Fletcher, Product Line Manager at AMD

Romisaa Samhoud, Product Line Manager at AMD

Starting with Lattice CPLDs in the ‘90s working on a Hewlett Packard high-speed test card, I have spent my career intrigued and fascinated with programmable logic devices. I spent 22 years working at Avnet and Memec as a Xilinx-dedicated FAE and then in technical marketing, working on development boards like Spartan 2 Low-Cost Eval board, Spartan-3A DSP Starter Kit, ZedBoard, and Ultra96-V2. I am currently working as a product line manager covering SoC Cost-Optimized products, including Zynq-7000 and Zynq UltraScale+ families.

I have studied Electrical Engineering at Alexandria University, Egypt and used Nexys A7 Artix 7 FPGA development board in my graduation project. I have always been curious about how powerful FPGAs are getting deployed in a wide variety of applications, few years later I am currently a Product Line Manager for the FPGA Cost-Optimized products, including Artix and Spartan Families.
