In this webinar we'll highlight the main technology trends and discuss where optocouplers and industrial fiber optics are used in power electronic converters. You'll learn about the positioning of isolation products in energy storage applications. Using real applications as examples, we'll talk about the benefits of opto-isolators and industrial fiber products for energy storage power conversion. Solar inverters, energy storage systems, EV charging stations, and uninterruptable power supplies are undergoing a transition due to the increased level of wattage and new wide band gap power semiconductors.
You will be introduced to a wide range of isolation products capable of addressing the requirements for different power converters used in energy storage systems such as AC/DC, DC/AC, and DC/DC converters. You'll discover SiC MOSFET and Si IGBT gate drivers with output current ratings up to 10A, high precision isolation amplifiers and modulators for current/voltage sensing, single/multi-channel digital optocouplers capable of speeds of up to 50MBd and industrial fiber optics for communication links in these applications.
