Roopa Sampath - Senior Product Manager - AMD

Sr. Product Manager Roopa Sampath leads Product Management and Marketing for cost-optimized product boards and kits at AMD. With nearly two decades of experience in the FPGA industry—spanning design, applications engineering, sales, and silicon product planning—she brings an end-to-end, customer-centric perspective to FPGA platform strategy. Prior to AMD, Roopa drove next-generation low-end FPGA initiatives and led configuration and security planning across Altera’s FPGA portfolio. She is passionate about translating complex technology into scalable, cost-effective solutions and accelerating the adoption of programmable hardware. Roopa holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UC Davis.
