    Congratulations.  This was a very interesting contest... a lot of different ideas were presented for storage and organization.  My favorite was the re-purposing of PVC pipes.

  • My favourite super-cheap organized storage technique are paper boxes which I used at the begining of my electornics "career". (I already won one prize for this btw: Received Duratool Cabinet Organizer Giveaway prize )

    While I no longer use them as core storage, last year I used them as temporary storage and even made VB.NET program which automates Corel Draw vector graphics editor to create box of any entered size. I chosen this approach because I later editied it that editor. (added labels/graphics here and placed multiple of these on single paper)

    It was originally inspired by this video (not mine work), but my program allows make boxes of any side ratio.

  • This are my 3 points 

    • Tidy up as soon as you finish a project – a clean bench today saves headaches tomorrow.

    • Label your boxes and bins so you don’t waste time playing hide-and-seek with parts.

    • Always return tools to their spot – it’s the fastest way to keep your flow going.

    “Label it, place it, ace it!”

  • My org system is simple.

    1. Use see through boxes. Things will be forgotten, especially dev board. I have a pegboard with dev boards at home, open bins at my work place.

    2. Procurement and Inventory are handled using inventree which is a free software.

    3. Projects are mounted to a portable pegboard wall so that they can be brought to and from a desk.Image 3 shows one project from work.

    I just cleared my desks this week. Currently in an unfinished basement Slight smile

    Only one mug design.  and I used to post an open source design every month. With a drawing. They are no longer online.
