It is the most wonderful time of the year!
Season's greetings, and welcome to the annual element 14 community Holidays competition.
The end of the year is drawing closer, so it is that time when we invite engineers, makers, and creators of all kinds to send in projects that incorporate electronics and tie into the Holiday season.
‘Tis the season for family and friends, wholesome times, togetherness … and prizes! We have a First-Place spot, Second Place spot and five Runner Up places available, with each winner able to make their choice of one prize from a selection of three for each category.
With so many spots available, there are lots of prizes to be won. Which one would be most useful to you in a current or future project?

You can post a project you have in progress, a new one for this competition or one you haven't posted about before but already completed.
Your submission can be themed around Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, the winter solstice, or, if the only belief you have is in The Force, then this is equally valid. The project could be a party planning aid, something that helps you whip up a festive feast in the kitchen, it could be a gift for a friend, the choice is completely yours!
There are many years of earlier holiday competition entries to take inspiration from but here are the community team’s favorites to inspire your competition entry and give you an idea of what we are expecting:
