Concept of the project

f we can reduce the food waste from every house. It will reduce the cost of garbage management for the city.  And if we can recycle food waste. it’s will improve the environment.

This project “ Food waste recycle bin “  will convert waste food into natural organic which we can use to plant the tree.

Users just put waste food into the slot for the crusher.  Food will be shred into small pieces and the controller will open the valve to fill up the tank with EM compost.

This substance will help dehydrate the waste.  The controller will start motor to stir the waste to mix all together.  This bin will be installed outside house

for solar heating. We are planning to use DC motor 12 V which make it possible to use solar cell in the future which is suitable for remote area or camping site.

Next step

We are looking into any available components that can use in this project. To make all from start is expensive and time-consuming.  But if we can select some

part that available in the market will help us reduce cost and time. For example, waste food crusher we may use meat grinder to crush waste by simple add motor

to power it.

I think the concept is good as it would be nice to have some sort of machine/box thingy that you could just put organic waste into and get useable compost out of it. This is the basic process of a compost…

Hi Thanks for the comments and point out some good suggestions. I will put these points in my consideration when built the project.

It looks like you have posted you blog to the wrong area. This one seems to be in your personal space as opposed to the Design Challenge space.

Seems an advanced idea of compost. Good start.
