Sinclair QL is 30 this year

Since I have made lots of friends in the QL community I'm very happy to say that the QL is now 30

Based on the 8bit version of the 68K the 68008 and 128K of RAM it opened a whole range of

3rd party hardware/software and still after all this time has a wide following and Vendor support

This video is unavailable.

Enjoy the little trip to the 80;s

Yep sorry to do that , I notice that a great number of the QL crowd are now well into the RPI in fact a few of us met up at the Cambridge Jam in September
and were last seen heckling the presenters in the lecture theatre

Yes Christian you can and in fact the QL has a TCP stack written for it so you can certainly do that.
I was thinking if the device could be shrunk down to a single chip as a IOT thing since Freescale
can put a 56K CPU on even their Jelly Bean MEMS devices!

I used to repair and "mod" the QL so yes I have one or two plus a grave yard of all sorts of Stuff.
I still think it would make a good project Vehicle for some FPGA work ....Hint Hint
