Not seeing comment notifications on reviews

Hi,

I think this could be a bug, but not sure.. Are there e-mail notifications for comments on reviews? There are comments here:

/products/roadtest/rv/roadtest_reviews/1683/rohde_schwarz_mxo_4_oscilloscope_a_review

however I've received no e-mail notification for any of them. Do I need to change any setting on review pages?

I'm wondering if there are comments on other people's reviews too, that they may not have seen, if there are no e-mail notifications.

     The dev' team have been unable to replicate this problem, they've been receiving e-mails.

    Have you made sure ReviewApp notifications is turned on? In your screenshot it appears it isn't.

    Hi Christopher,

    Thanks for that, you're right, I've just checked, and it was turned off.

    I had a look at older reviews, and it is turned on for all of those, so I think it may default to on normally.

    Perhaps it defaulted to off this time, or I may have accidentally turned it off myself, i.e. it may be my mistake.

    Anyway, this issue can be closed, I can just remember to check this next time.

    Unfortunately I think there may still be an issue here.

    For the same review, the notifications are set correctly:

    However, Mike commented a couple of hours ago:

    But I can't see any e-mail notification:

    In my Settings, I have everything checked (nothing left unchecked) so I believe I should be receiving e-mail notifications.

    I'll try leaving a test comment on another person's review, to see if they receive a notification.

    Re-opening this, there is some issue here.

    I have left a comment on a review by   and he does not see a notification online (in that drop-down thing top-right). Similarly, Jan has left me a comment on two reviews, both of which correctly have the notifications set, and I see no online notification either. I also have received no e-mail, despite having all settings checked, since I prefer e-mail notifications.

    Hi Shabaz,

    Thanks for testing this further, I have been able to reproduce the problem in our staging environment, all of the settings to make this 'work' appear to be enabled in production and staging, so I've re-opened the ticket with the development team to investigate.

    Are you seeing any problems with other notifications on the site?

    Hi Christopher,

    I've not seen any other notifications issue, everything looks healthy, plenty of notifications making their way here, most of these are discussions but I see one labelled Blog in the list so those are working fine too. It seems to only affect Roaftests from what I can tell.

    At least it's narrowed down, though not ideal. The dev' team have managed to be able to semi-replicate it, though it's still unclear what/if the cause is.
