Jedi Badge Live Again! Rogue One Launch Day - What's Your Favourite Star Wars Movie?

Last May 4th, we launched a Jedi badge for one day only, which turned out to be more popular than some of the expensive, product-driven, business-focused engagement programs that have taken lots of people weeks to plan imageimage

But that's Star Wars for you.

With Rogue One launching today (eep! High hopes for this film, I have) the timing seemed right to recruit a few more Jedi into our worthy ranks! So for today only, those who don't already have the Jedi badge can earn it by doing the following:

  • First, update your profile image and avatar to your favourite Star Wars character.
  • Then add your favourite saga quote as a status update.
  • Finally, vote in our poll below to determine the best movie in the entire Star Wars franchise (so far (far away)).

For those who've already earned the Jedi badge, completing these tasks and leaving a worthy comment below about why this is your favourite Star Wars flick will award you the rank of Jedi Master!

Go get 'em, you bunch of stuck up, half-witted, scruffy-lookin' Nerf herders!

The best is still the first one released (episode 4). Empire was awesome - the first time i'd seen sci-fi fx on a white background. The third was good, but, ewoks. and then we can skip right to Rey. Speaking…

I felt a great disturbance in the Force last night, and now I know why -- Clem voted for The Phantom Menace?! Dude's gone to the dark side... You get a badge for that, Clem -- a badge of shame!

Yeah, I reckon there's a deeper story there, eh? I reckon Clem could whip up a party dress as quickly as he could build an IoT gateway!

I used to watch my Mom sew as a kid, so these patterns come in an envelope and are laid out on the material. They get pinned and cut out. Later you fit them to may the coat or sleves etc. Here is a sample from the back of the envelope.

I also built my own Lightsaber, and I met David Prowse once at a sci-fi con. We discussed why Alec Guinness gave up on the sword fight so easily, and about his days as the Green Cross Code Man (any other ageing Brits remember that one?).

Oh, and my wife made me this Boba Fett jacket. I'm told this style of jacket is normally constructed from seven "pattern pieces" (whatever that means). This Boba Fett version has over 70!
