Need help building a jet turbine sound module.

Hi All,
I've been trying to make a Jet engine sound module,
I want to 3d print a turbine model and have a potentiometer control the turbine startup/ spooling up/ spooling down / shutdown sound.
Can't seem to find any Arduino code for playing these sounds.
Either on the board or on a MP3 module.

I found a old video on YouTube, no tutorials though,
Can anyone help.

Thanks in advance.

Do a search for RC jet engine sound module and you'll find several devices that you can operate using a PWM channel from the arduino.

I have seen many online but problem being I'll have to ship them to India, and the shipping cost is more than the module cost.

That is the reason I was trying to build one myself.

     JQ6500 MP3 Player the sequel

Some of Mike Cook's (Grumpy Mike) projects may be worth a look as he has used sound synthesis on the Arduino.

He has also written a book:

which may give you some ideas

Perhaps take a look at the AudioZero library

    https://github.com/arduino/docs-content/blob/main/content/tutorials/generic/simple-audio-player/simple-audio-player.md

It looks like it will play a wav file from an attached SD card.

akashthakur0305 Ok, I bite, first a sound file is sort of universal. I was a crew chief in the USAF, and when you started you thing it sounded terrible. I suggest, that you don't mess about and print the stupid thing. (There are lots of 3D models floating around. on my end I a really nice model of the Fan-Jet, and It goes together just like a real one. One big exception my engine is about 3' across and powered by a large DC motor(size 8, or 11) that runs on 50 volts or better.  Now the problem is since it was printed will it hang or fly apart?  ~~ Cris BTW try this sound Much better: ( simple Google search: Fan Jet Engine Run-up.

The sound in this clip is from a turboshaft helicopter engine. You can hear the blades at 1:39.

The video leaves a lot of questions.

Do you want audio to play with a rc transmission radio? Will this speaker be on the plane?

Side note, it may be cheeper to buy a jet engine than invest the time and money into programming arduino.

If you want to create a program that outputs power level depending on the throttle position, I would start with breaking up a engine start up into segments, power changing segments, increase and decrease. Than have separate power level sounds based on the appropriate power level.

I would also have to create a sub routine that recognizes the current throttle position and relative direction.  Your going to have a hard time with it not sounding choppy. Aka. The video is most likely fake.

Good luck. Let me know how you do. Very interesting challenge for sure.
