First A Note Towards Contest Folks:-
Hello folks this is my 2nd entry into Azure Sphere contest (I have logged my first entry B Inventory into a different account but both of these accounts are mine! Please take both entries into consideration while judging!) Now onward's to my second entry :-).
Description:-
- Many a times it happens in retail that a shop may not have a certain piece or part but the consumer would very much like to see that.
- Unfortunately at the end the consumer has to end up choosing between a piece on display or a piece which they are shown in a handbook
- The consumer many times ends up choosing the display piece because they have interacted with it and it seems "real" to them
- B Mimic is a project (revolving around smart retail) which aims to solve that problem by letting consumer rotate and view an item or part in multiple angles,So that the piece/part will seem real to them
- Note that Augmented reality devices may exists but this is a cost effective approach to smart retail for retailers who would want less burden on pocket
