The MicroZedTm Embedded Vision Kits build on the MicroZed System-On-Module (SOM) by providing a video specific carrier card which includes on-board HDMI input/output interfaces, audio CODEC, and a camera connector for optional camera modules. The kits are available as a complete bundle or as a stand-alone carrier card for designers who already have a MicroZed module.

EMBV - HDMI IP and Tutorials<br  />Two IP Cores are provided for the MicroZed Embedded Vision Carrier Card’s HDMI input and output interfaces. The tutorial instructs the user how to build a design with Vivado Design Suite (IP Integrator and SDK).  Required hardware includes : MicroZed Embedded Vision Carrier Card, MicroZed 7010 or 7020 SOM.

EMBV - PYTHON-1300-C Vivado HLS Reference Design<br  />The Vivado HLS Reference Design provides a feature rich framework for the development of video applications on the Xilinx Zynq-7000 SoC.  The design is supported by Petalinux, including the linux drivers for the following video pipelines : HDMI output (display), co-processing (sobel), HDMI input, as well as PYTHON-1300-C camera input.  Required hardware includes: MicroZed 7020 SOM + MicroZed Embedded Vision Carrier Card, and optionally the PYTHON-1300-C camera module.

XYLON Face Detection and Tracking for EMBV and PYTHON-1300-C<br  />Xylon's logiFDT Face Detector and Tracker IP core finds and tracks the face and facial features in video sequences in real time and returns full 3D head pose, gaze direction, facial features coordinates and a wealth of other information. Required hardware includes : MicroZed Embedded Vision Carrier Card, MicroZed 7020 SOM, PYTHON-1300-C Camera Module.

XYLON Image Signal Processing (ISP) Pipeline for EMBV and PYTHON-1300-C<br  />Xylon's logiISP Image Signal Processing (ISP) Pipeline IP core is a full high-definition ISP pipeline designed for digital processing and image quality enhancements of an input video stream in smarter vision embedded designs based on XilinxRegistered ZynqRegistered-7000 AP SoC and 7 Series FPGA devices. Required hardware includes : MicroZed Embedded Vision Carrier Card, MicroZed 7020 SOM, PYTHON-1300-C Camera Module.

Display Panel Controller Standalone Tutorials for MicroZed Embedded Vision Carrier
The tutorial instructs the user how to build a Programmable Logic based display controller design from scratch using Xilinx design tools.  Example standalone software projects are provided to demonstrate display and touch controller functionality.  Required hardware includes MicroZed (does not have element14 link) (with Embedded Vision Carrier) and the 7-inch Zed Touch Display Kit.
