I need an OLED display, but I can't find it

Hi Everybody!

I want to use in my project an OLED display with following parameters:

- the module (or viewing area) height is ~ 60mm

- color (RGB), graphic

- with touch

- if possible, with simple interface

I want to show some figure, text and simple animation on this display, but these should look really nice. So I think the resolution min. 480*800, but I have no experience in this topic. And the type is PMOLED or AMOLED.. I think the AMOLED version is better.

I've been surfing the web, but I did not find this display at all, so I was thinking of using a mobile phone display. But the result is same, no technical documents to any OLED mobile phone display (... and distributor).

I can use PIC and STM32F407 microcontrollers, but I am also interested to other solutions.

So my question is: where can I found an OLED displays refer to this topic?

Hello,

I am afraid that there are only small OLED displays ( < 2 " ) available in small quantities, mainly the cyan (+ yellow) variant. I tried to google the biggest size just out of curiosity and it seems it is not easy to manufacture larger displays: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OLED (see the Fabrication chapter).

If you plan to sell your device in big volumes, send a quote to some display manufacturers and see what kind of response you get. It is usual that some components for cell phones are made only in large volumes for big customers with contracts (and a lot of money), the specifications and other documents are not public.
