96Boards Dual Camera Mezz Out of Box image - failed to find mode "1920x1080" for connector 42

I have been attempting to run the Out of Box image as per the 96Boards Dual Camera Mezz Getting Started Guide, but I keep getting an error and no image is displayed on the screen. I have rebooted the board while connected to a monitor and still no luck.

 

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

I've tried this with multiple Monitors as well as connecting to a TV, but I get the same error:

    Looking at the modetest output, it is showing DP-1 as disconnected, yet I know I have a monitor connected.

    I think I may have found my issue.  in the Ultra96-V2 Getting Started Guide v2.0 it states:

    HDMI Monitor
    o Requires Active miniDP-to-HDMI adapter or cable

     

    The cable I have appears to be a Passive miniDP to HDMI cable, so I've ordered an Active miniDP to HDMI cable. Hopefully that resolves the issue.

     

    The 96boards Dual Camera Mezz GSG does not state this.

    With the Active miniDP to HDMI cable, I can get info from the monitor. However, it appears I do not have a monitor that supports 1920x1080. 

    It looks like something else to purchase.

    Okay, after purchasing a cheap Acer 27" 1080p monitor, I finally have an image from the Dual Camera Mezz.

     

    However, this did take some effort in that I had to run the  "run_1920_1080" script and reboot the board multiple times.
