I have 6 op-amp active filter connected to four LM3886 amplifier ICs.
I am using a LM324 op-amp set up as a voltage follower (VCC/2 divider connected to the input.) When I connected this to the virtual ground of the op-amp series, the op-amp output (virtual ground) oscillated at 2MHz. I added a resistor+capacitor to the output of the follower, low pass filter, suppressing the oscillations.
Can I adjust the low pass filters capacitor for better regulation of the virtual ground, or will it overload the op-amp’s capacitive load? Or is it ok if the output is not swinging?
Is there another way to regulate/filter the virtual ground?
Also, will connecting some caps between the virtual ground and the VCC rail help any?
