I have recently joined the forum but I hope I am writing the question in right forum!
I am going to buy a Xilinx FPGA development board (SOM) but I am not sure which one. I will use the board for testing/accelerating simulations of some particular DSP algorithms. For example I have implemented a 5G compliant LDPC decoder in Verilog and I want to test it on FPGA now. My application is mostly about sending data from PC to the board, do DSP processing, and then send the results back to PC. I don't need fancy peripherals so even a working USB port is enough for my work (I don't want to spend much of money on a board with numerous peripherals that I am not going to use)
my basic requirements are:
- about 300k-500k LUTs
- 1 peripheral with PC (e.g., USB, Ethernet, etc)
Due to my budget I would like to consider the cheapest options.
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
