    Hello!

It appears that I have a fairly similar problem.

I had successfully flashed Mbed firmware and I've been able to program it just fine. Until I tried flashing programs using CMSIS-DAP.

Now the SDA LED doesn't turn on when I plug the device in and when I enter bootloader mode it's flashing quickly 8 times and repeats after a second or two.

My LASTSTAT.TXT log is just saying "Programming..."

    SDA info:

    Board Name is  FRDM-KL25ZFRDM-KL25Z

    MicroBoot Kernel Version is: 1.05

    Bootloader Version is: 1.09

    Application Version is: 0.00

    DUID is: 41233938-ADD681E7-37552809-B860E678

    EUID is: 39C1A239-3F748765-18544A1E-925968D6

    TUID is: 74823938-473281EF-3779981C-B85CE678

    TOA is: 86B6E505-F8DB5048-41E6B687-B0372E99

    TOA2 is: 86B6E505-9FF8D920-CDE430D7-38856A8D

    SUID is: 86B6E505-6C47A61D-37239804-8003EC65

I tried flashing "BOOTUPDATEAPP_Pemicro_v111.SDA" in Windows 7 but it doesn't work. Again, after dragging and droppin the file, unplugging it and then plugging it back in the SDA LED doesn't turn on, I've left it it like that for 30 seconds. Booting back in bootloader results in the same thing, though the LASTSTAT.TXT now says "Ready".

I'd highly appreciate any sort of help here, thank you.

    EDIT:

Okay, I flashed DEBUG-App-Pemicro-108 and the appropriate MSD DEBUG. Helped.

    Hi Sławomir,

    Please try the below options

    Option-1:

Please program the attached "MSD-DEBUG-FRDM-KL25Z_Pemicro_v114.SDA" MSD / debug driver in bootloader mode (i.e press the reset button and insert the usb cable to PC and release it)

Next reset the board by removing the usb cable and reinsert it, then you can see the "FRDM-KL25Z" MSD drive opening in windows explorer which is for application programming. here you can drag and drop any precompiled SREC files

this option has to work most of the time as i tried at my end and it is working fine.

    Option-2:

    visit to freescale wesite

    http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=FRDM-KL25Z&fpsp=1&tab=Design_Tools_Tab

and download  FRDM-KL25ZFRDM-KL25Z Quick start package

enter in bootlooder mode (i.e press the reset button and insert the usb cable to pc and release it) and program it with MSD-FRDM-KL25Z_Pemicro_v105.SDA (which is the default one) restart it and check whether you are able to enter into MSD mode (able to see the KL25Z drive) where you can drag n drop the pre-compiled example programs.

Let me know whether this was helpful or not.

    Best Regards

    Bheema Rao
