    Hi Vinayak,

From the snapshot of your board details, it shows the bootloader version of your board is 1.09 which needs to update following below procedure:

    1. Enter bootloader mode (generally by holding down the target reset button on the OpenSDA board and plugging in the USB connection).

    2. Drag and drop the "BOOTUPDATEAPP_Pemicro_v111.SDA" file to the root directory of the Bootloader "drive". (i have attached the OpenSDA  bootloader Firmware which is downloaded from P&E Microcomputer Systems)

    3. Unplug and replug your OpenSDA board to initiate Bootloader update. Bootloader update should take less than 15 seconds (probably averages 3 seconds).

    4. Once update is complete, OpenSDA will automatically enumerate in Bootloader mode and green status LED will go on blinking with 0.5 second on/off intervals.

    5. Run the SDA_INFO.HTM file in the root directory of the Bootloader "drive".

IMPORTANT: Please do not unplug OpenSDA while Bootloader is updating.

Please try these at your end and let me know if this helps

    Best Regards

    Bheema Rao

Thank you Bheema for your quick and detailed answer to Vinayak
Now that you can see the  FRDM-KL25ZFRDM-KL25Z drive in your file explorer you can easily reprogram the KL25 target just drag n droping some precompiled examples(srec files in this drive

I have attached several srec files precompiled for the  FRDM-KL25ZFRDM-KL25Z board that you could try image

Then to continue your evaluations I recommend you to download the Quick Start Package and the Sample Code Package for  FRDM-KL25ZFRDM-KL25Z available on Freescale website at www.freescale.com/frdm-kl25z

    I wish you a nice  FRDM-KL25ZFRDM-KL25Z evaluation
