Product Brief/Fact sheet

  • I believe that the Pynq image is maintained by the AMD/xilinx team.

  • Please,

provide a PYNQ image for the ZUBoard which will see and can use this eMMC module!

It works fine with a AVNET Petalinux image, but not with PYNQ 3.0.1 image: it does not see the eMMC module.

It would be great, if somebody could provide a PYNQ SD card image for the ZUBoard with:

    • see the eMMC as additional memory (mmcblk1) when booted from SD card (mmcblk0)
    • provide quick guidance how to flash the eMMC module with SD Card PYNQ image, so
that we can boot and run from eMMC
    • also great and highly appreciated:
there is also this SSD M.2 nvme module: even not supported to boot from it, but changing from eMMC
module to SSD module - let PYNQ see this device (nvme)

    Remark:
Yes, these modules (eMMC as well as the SSD M.2) work fine with the AVNET PetaLinux test image.
But not with regular PYNQ image!
It would be great to add these modules as supported to the PYNQ 3.0.1 SD card image.

    Thank you.

  • Please, could AVNET add support for this eMMC card in PYNQ image? The ZUBoard PYNQ does not see it as a device.

    Thank you.
