BBB PRU C compiler?

There's been talk of a PRU C compiler from TI for a while, but it doesn't seem to have materialised.

So I was interested to read this post in the mailing list today http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.hardware.beagleboard.user/65907

Sounds like he got tired of waiting for TI's version

Hi Clem! There is a C compiler available (more info here) , I had a quick attempt with it when it was released, and it seemed to produce expected output, however I didn't try to use it further at the time…

Wow. Impressive. That was many thousands of lines of code, so he was very committed!

Hi Clem!

There is a C compiler available (more info here), I had a quick attempt with it when it was released, and it seemed to produce expected output, however I didn't try to use it further at the time
(PRU assembler language is quite straightforward, so I'd originally used that).
