hey I'm very new at Element14.
Yesterday I got my beaglebone black and the BB View 4.3" LCD Display
I was trying to run the display on the BBB but I failed and I don't know why.
What I did:
1. I got the latest Image from BeagleBoard.org - latest-images and updated my BBB. At the end all four LEDs where permanent ON so i think the update was successfull.
2. I got the angstrom Image from element14: BB View LCD Cape Software Download Centre[1] unpacked it and copied it on an USB stick.

3. Removed USB-Cable. Removed USB Stick. Plugged in the BB View exaclty like the product picture on the Box.
4. plugged in 5V DC Cable (1A)
On the BB View cape the two LEDs turn On for about 4secs and then turn off. After that nothing happens.
The BBB is working well. I can connect to putty without any problems but the LCD shows no sign of life.
What did I wrong?
Can someone help me?
