LPC4357-EVB LCD demo program problem

Hi all, I am using LPC4357-evb board.  While using LCD demo code, it works fine with a 4.3 TFT screen, but when I use the same demo file with a 7" TFT display, the image is not shown at all, what I am getting is just a few blurred lines, what should I do?

    Hi sakthiemb,

    This is opening a huge can of worms, frankly.

     

    So to be able to make a better assessment of whether or not the LCD screen you're trying to use will work; you need to know the pinouts of the connector for the larger screen and compare that with the user manual: Embest: User Manual for LPC4357-EVB Evaluation Board , section 3.5.8, Figure 3-10, page 11.

     

    Also note that the board and manual mainly point out compatibility with a QVGA 4.3" screen, it's possible that the output signal is incompatible with the screen you're trying to use.

     

    Unfortunately I do not have access to one of these boards and the hardware you're using (which you also need to specifically state so that people can help you better, including make/model/revision of board).

     

    In other terms I suspect it simply won't work without some form of interim circuitry, but do report back with information or what the pinouts you've found on your LCD screen are and how they compare to the manual.
