Hello,
I have just received my RIoT board and wish to change the existing Android OS to Ubuntu.
I downloaded updater tool for Linux Image: http://downloads.element14.com/linux/Linux.zip?ICID=knode-riotboard-quick&COM=RIoTboard
However the updater tool would not start up.
The OS on my laptop is Windows 7 64bit.
Here are the steps I followed:
1. Set the boot jumpers to Serial Download as stated in the RIoT board User Manual
2. Extract the Linux.zip to a folder
3. Copy the files from 'image_SVN2487' directory to 'tools\Mfgtools-Rel-4.1.0_130816_MX6DL_UPDATER\Profiles\MX6DL Linux Update\OS Firmware\files' directory.
4. Power up the board using 5V DC jack with 3A power adapter
5. Connect the USB-OTG cable to PC and it recognised as USB HID Input device
6. Run the Updater MfgTool2.exe - However this fails with the below Error
I have tried using Admin Mode but does not work and shows the same error.
I wish to know if any one has faced this problem or has a solution for this.
Kindly point out if there are any mistakes in my configuration steps.
