Kit Overview

The Freescale's TRK-MPC5604BTRK-MPC5604B board is part of the Freescale StarterTRAK series, a development platform that enables rapid prototyping and tool re-use. Take your design to the next level and begin constructing with your StarterTRAK system today.

The TRK-MPC5604BTRK-MPC5604B is a low-cost development system supporting Freescale MPC5604B/MPC5607B microcontrollers in 144LQFP packages. The Embedded OSJTAG circuitry on the TRK-MPC5604B board allows the processor on the board to be debugged and programmed via USB from a PC. In addition, the demo board can be powered using the USB bus.

The TRK-MPC5604BTRK-MPC5604B is a demonstration and development system for Freescale’s MPC5604B microcontrollers in 144LQFP packages. Application development is quick and easy using Embedded OSJTAG. An optional 14-pin JTAG port is provided to allow the use of an external Power Architecture Nexus interface such as P&E’s USB Multilink or Cyclone MAX automated programmer. P&E’s USB Multilink provides faster communication speeds and can be used to debug both the TRK-MPC5604B and the user’s own targets. The DEMO board’s Embedded OSJTAG is intended to function with the onboard processor only. It cannot be used to communicate with other devices.

The Qorivva MPC560xB/C family of 32-bit microcontrollers (MCUs) includes the latest in integrated devices for automotive body electronics applications. These scalable Power ArchitectureRegistered devices are supported by an enablement ecosystem that includes software drivers, operating systems and configuration code to help you quickly implement your designs.
