Kit Overview
element14 and Microchip presents Multimedia Bundle Kit (MEB-PIC32ENETMEB-PIC32ENET), it includes; PIC32 Ethernet Starter Kit and Multimedia Expansion Board. A free version of Microchip MPLAB PIC32 C compiler can be downlaod below. This will provide PIC32 users a powerful interface with great connectivity when two boards are fitted together; a PICtail socket provides access to various I/O if customers wish to add extra functionality. This complete multimedia bundle is available at 1/3 promotional price of actual cost for the limited period of time.
The PIC32 Ethernet Starter Kit (DM320004DM320004) provides the easiest and lowest cost method to experience 10/100 Ethernet development with PIC32. Combined with Microchip's free TCP/IP software, your project will be running in no time. The PIC32 has an available CAN 2.0b peripheral and USB host/device/OTG. The Ethernet Starter Kit has a form factor and expansion connector that is compatible with other PIC32 Starter Kits.
The Multimedia Expansion Board (DM320005DM320005) provides PIC32 Starter Kit users with an integrated yet flexible solution for development of high impact user interfaces. The board comes with a 3.2 Color TFT touch-screen QVGA display, an onboard FCC certified WiFi module, a 24-bit stereo audio code, a three-axis accelerometer, a joystick and a MicroSD memory card slot. Simply connect PIC32 Ethernet Starter Kit to the Multimedia Expansion Board and you're ready to develop, program and debug code for the user interface features.
A free version of Microchip PIC32 full-featured ANSI compliant C compiler is available to download for Evaluation purpose. It has no code size limit and provides complete functionality for 60 days. The compiler is completely usable after 60 days other than certain optimization levels are disabled. The compiler is fully compatible with Microchip's MPLAB IDE and popular third party IDEs. Demo software for the Multimedia Expansion Board can be downloaded below and is also contained within the Microchip Application Library, including software for the joystick, accelerometer, CPLD and more.
Microchip's 32-bit portfolio with the MIPS M4K offers high performance microcontrollers, and all the tools needed to develop your embedded project. With free software, low cost development tools, and pin/peripheral compatibility from 16-bit product lines, PIC32 MCUs shorten time to market and allow your designs to grow. PIC32 gives your application the processing power, memory and peripherals your design needs!
