I think this issue is more critical for EAGLE users than the users of
Protel. I can find the Protel OrCAD symbols and footprints of Analog
Devices components in their web site but the corresponding parts for
EAGLE were postponed for at least more than two years. I guess the
better way for me is to find a converter in EAGLE user community instead
of other communities.

Since you can import about anything into EAGLE by using script files,it's normally a matter of exporting the data from your source. If Protel allows for any "processable", known data format export, itwill surely be possible to write a converter from that format to EAGLEscript language. Maybe it's better to start at that side: asking for the exportcapabilities in the Protel world. Tilmann
