Hi, that´s working for the schematic, but when it start duplicating on the

board, there´s an error.

"Can´t execute while command is running in other window"

 

How can I fix that?

 

The error message comes for every line in the script, several times.

It´s like I copy and paste on the schematic, I still need to route on the

board, and that´s not what the script should do, right?

    How do we duplicate a section of both the schematic and its layout?

    I have a design that has a common circuit (contains isolated power) that

    needs to be replicated many times, with each part AND signal being UNIQUE.

     

    I've seen that by adding an underscore & number at the end of each part

    name, such as R22_1 for example, that part in the copy correctly

    increments as expected: R22_2, R22_3, ect.

     

    The signals do NOT do that, and I haven't seen how to do the same auto

    increment of them in the manual (not sure what search words to use).

     

    Equal to that in need is to replicate the circuit layout.  When a copy is

    made on the schematic, all the new parts are deposited outside the board

    border.

     

    There must be a way to make unique schematic & layout copies of circuit

    sections...

     

    Using Professional Edition 5.3.0
