Can someone please help me make a custom library componant ?

I am not the greatest at building custom componants in eagle . Can someone please make me this componant i need . I am willing to pay if need be . The componant i need is a Sharp PQ12rd21 voltage regulator . It is a to-220.4 package . I need the whole device made which includes the package ,symbol and finished device . Iv tried a few times with no luck and have read several tutorials on making one .

Here is the datasheet for it with dimensions .

http://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/43421/SHARP/PQ12RD21.html

If you can make one package with the mounting hole and another with just the pins that would be great .

Thanks in advance .

I am sure you can do it yourself! One of the most simple tutorials I have ever seen is: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-make-a-custom-library-part-in-Eagle-CAD-too/

If you still will have trouble with this task PM me and I am sure we can come to terms.

I have tried a few times now and i got the package and symbol built and connected them but when i save it saves as like a library folder somehow and contains like a bunch of other regs . It shows up in the control panel but when i go to use it its not on the list . Somethings very weird . I dont know what im doing wrong but i spent the last 6 hours trying to get it but cant . I have 3 different ones now but none will work .

Seems that you must put your library "IN USE" by clicking the use icon

on the very top of the screen and then select your library.

If you see your library in the control panel you can activate it by

clicking the little Dot "O" between the library name and the

description. It will become green  image

One more question . I am trying to do a ground copper pour on the bottom side with polygon but having a problem . The problem is i have 1206 smd componants and the copper pour is going through the middle of the 1206 pad . The only way i can get the copper pour to stay out of the middle of the smd's is set the isolate to above 40mil . Is there a way i can just i can just keep out the pour over those specific smd's and be able to set the isolate back down to around 12mil ?

You can draw rect on bRestrict (or tRestrict for top) layer to keep plane away.

You don't even need a rectangle.  All you need is a wire on the

appropriate restrict layer.  In the attached snapshot, the polygon has

an isolate value of 25 mils and the bRestrict wire is .15 mm wide.  The

distance between the edge of the restrict wire and the pad is about 21.6

mils which is less than the isolate value of the enclosing polygon.

    Enjoy,

Attachment ? Im not seeing it . So your basically saying just draw a wire on the brestrict layer through the middle of the smd pads ?

    Yep... Exactly.

The snapshot was in the message.  It's even attached to the message I

got back.  Some problems have been reported regarding attachments when

you're using the web interface.  If you use the NNTP news groups, all

    works well.
