Got a funky looking private message asking to respond by email, so I logged on here to check him out and can confirm 100% this is some sort of email harvester.
Where do we report such forum abuse?

( emoticon:class=jive_macro
jive_emote|src=http://files1.element14.com/community/4.5.3/images/emoticons/happy.gif|__jive_emoticon_name=happy )

I prefer text-only emoticons and agree the way the platform injects emoticon graphics is a bit annoying. But I'm a bit confused - do you mean that emoticon usage borders on spam?
Cheers,
Drew
