Script / easy way to delete this pesky OC_NEWARK, OC_FARNELL, MF, MPN... attributes in default libs?

Hi,

 

is there any simple way of removing these pesky default attributes from

the stock libraries that got introduced most likely for this Farnell

shop integration stuff ?

 

They mess up my BOM with my user defined attributes and for unknown

reasons one cannot delete them from the instance on the schematic and

board (why? I don't see the point?) but has to delete them from each

single part in each affected library...

    My suggestion: Consider Cadsoft libs as starting point, check and

    modify the parts you want to use before transferring it to your own

    lib.

     

    Otherwise you can get rid of the attributes by simply removing them,

    any search and replace tool should do the job. The V6 libs are text

    (XML).
