CAM issues with power planes

My understanding is that Power plane on an inner layer in Eagle are created

"negatively" - however, when I create gerbers, it looks like my CAm settings

don't create the inverse of the file.

Am I doing something wrong? missed something obvious?

I'm viewing gerbers created using viewmate.

In other words, it looks exactly the same as the view in Eagle. The

View in Eagle is inverted as far as I know. The view in viewmate should

    not be... right?

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here...

I think what you're missing is that if you're using supply layers you

should tell the board house that they are supply layers and therefore

the Gerbers are negatives. The board house should then cope with that.
