Hi guys,
Is there any existing idea or ULP to easily make inverted (negative) top
silk layer (or any).
Thanks in advance.

I export the positive image file - then use a graphics package to invert
the PCB area and print using MS-Paint (only because it allows you to
declare the dpi print so you can get the right scale/size) For graphic

Thanks for your input, I will try out your the paint shop version.
In the mean time, I had trouble with MS-paint (I though about this since it
has the direct inverting function built in), but the fairly large exported
monocolor BMP file to keep the detailed result is continuously crashing the
MS-paint on my "not actually low end PC" (core2 duo 6800 Extreme with 4G
ram, and lots of HDD, fully updated winXP-pro.)
Also I called the board house, and asked them if they could do the inverted
silk, they did not say no, but they stated this will create a huge delay
caused by possible confusion in the CAM department, multi pre-approvals have
to be presented, involving regional sales guy too ......blah.... (not the
easy way)
I am still seeking a possible ULP, that someone might have came across with.
Best Regards,
Zoly

Hi Zoly,
Try playing with eagle's export (File - Export - Image) - you can
specify the DPI there, depending on the detail in your pcb, you may be
able to get away with a lower DPI - say 200 or so which will reduce your
file size. From the browse button you can also change the format from
bmp (which is big) to say PNG or Tiff which have lossless compression.
Select the layer you want as per printing. (I use eagle ver 4.16r2)
Remember to set MS-Paint with the same DPI as you export the file with
.. sounds obvious but ...
Kind regards
Anton
