What was default <CTL>+S

autodeskguest

This hurts to have to ask, but here it is:

I have been using a script file to load optimal linewidth, grid, pad

diameter (etc.) menu choices for the different editors whenever I open a new

file. (This is another method of loading parameters into the "Options

Assign" menu, of course.)

This would overwrite any default Eagle commands if they used the same key

combinations. I believe I overwrote the default +S into the "Options Assign" menu?

Thanks.

back because I can't find the correct syntax.

I think I remember reading about it in the ver 5.0 Readme or Release Notes,

but I have not been able to find it in documentation of subsequent versions.

I really do not want to go back and load ver 5.0 just to find the correct

syntax for default <CTL>+S. Is it "Save File;" "Save File" "Save All;" or

anything similar? I get error messages with everything I try.

Is or was this a documented feature, or is it something I only imagined? I

can't find it in current documentation. How do I load the default command

(if there is one) for <CTL>+S into the "Options Assign" menu?

    Thanks.

If you want to assign Ctrl + S with the Save command:

    ASSIGN C+S 'WRITE;';

WRITE is the command that saves the current file.
