Design reuse

Hi,

 

I must design several boards which have some piece of design in common.

For example some have the same connectors with IO protections, some

others have the same power supply, some have the same micro-controller.

 

I would like to create a schematic and route a board for each piece of

design.

Then I would like to take these sub-projects and create a final project

with additional parts and routing.

 

Is there a way do this with Eagle ?

 

I would like to know how people are reusing their designs ?

Are you re-routing everything ?
