Text not pointing correct

autodeskguest
autodeskguest over 16 years ago

From a DXF i created a scriptfile to place text along a circle.

The text should be readble in the same way. It shows correct in the DXF file

but on the board a section is displayed correct but the other part is a sort

of mirrord.

Is this to be fixed becourse if i do the same by hand it shows at it should

be.

    I cannot follow you exactly, but why don't you use polar coordinates

    like TEXTxxxxx(Pdistance angle);

    where the distance and the angle is from the 0,0 position.

    (Observe the "P" in front of distance for "polar").

    If you want a different position as the center of your circle set this

    with "Mark" and use "RP" for relative polar, like

    TEXTxxxxx(RPdistance angle);

    text r45 '45' (RP400 45) would read as:

    Rotate text '45' by 45° at a distance of 400 Grid-units and an angle of

    45° from a position set with "Mark".

    If I use

    TEXT RP0 '1' (P53.5 0); in stead of TEXT R0 '1' (-60,680580 -1,897160); the

    text isn't in line with the hole but slightly above.

    I.o.w. the picking point of the text is in the lower left bottom and not in

    the center.
