I have revivewed this forum and have already found
several helpful hints, so I know that you folks know what you
are doing.
I have oodles of experience with various CADD/Graphics
packages, but I am an absolute novice at using Eagle.
Here's my problem:
Does anyone here know how to edit a schematic symbol?
I have used Eagle (Freeware version) to create a few microcontroller (MCU)
schematic symbols that I am using in several projects.
I want to create a simplified version of each symbol for
illustrative purposes.
For example, in some simplified schematic cases, I don't want to show
ALL of the MCU pins - just those in use at the time.
Suppose I have a symbol library, "MCU_x.lbr".
How do I delete one or more of the pins and
make a new copy, "MCU_x2.lbr"?
I have reviewed the User manual and all of the Help screens,
with no success.
Any help or pointers to a source of
help will be greatly aappreciated.
Thank you all very much.
