Power pins not shown

autodeskguest
autodeskguest over 16 years ago

I am using a quad 4+11 opamp which does not show the supply pins ( 4 & 11)

when the 4 sections are added to a schematic.

when I run erc I get these errors

ERROR: Sheet 1/1: no SUPPLY for implicit POWER Pin IC1P V+

ERROR: Sheet 1/1: no SUPPLY for implicit POWER Pin IC1P V-

How do I work with this device to make connections to the Power Pins?

Thanks

Use the built in help and look at invoke.

You don't actually need "invoke", though it's how you would proceed if you

want the clarity of the power pins being visible. If all you want is to

get the power connected, just put V+ and V- symbols (from the "supply"

library) somewhere on your schematic, and connect them to the real

    supplies.

Which approach is best depends on how many op-amps and how many different

supply names your circuit deals with.
