Gerber for selected area of board

Halloo All

Is it possible to generate a gerber file for a sub-section of a board?

I have a schematic containing components that are not on the main pcb,

such as LCD display, keyboard etc.  On my board layout I have simply

moved these components outside the outline of the board I wish to be

produced then run the autorouter.  Fine so far.  For the gerbers I want

to send to the manufacturer I only want the layout lying inside my

board outline with the outlying parts removed/masked.  Is this

possible?

I see there are parameters like   Offset="0.0mil 0.0mil" and

Page="12000.0mil 8000.0mil" in the gerb274x.cam file so I assume these

manipulate plot area in some way.

Thanks

Mike E

Once again, my favorite problem...wouldn't it be nice to mark those

    parts as "off-board"?

Of course, some will now chime in that they shouldn't be in your

schematic in the first place, or that you should make new packageless

parts from the symbols and use those...because that is the most

convenient way to go image Or perhaps you will become so confused that your

display is off-board that you will misinterpret the lack of warnings or

the loss of forward/backward annotation, and gosh, it's just not worth

it! Let's just keep struggling on the old way.
