Disabling Right-Click Menus in v5.8.0

Is there a way to disable the right-click context menus in v5.8.0?  I have

just switched from v4.16, and have gotten used to being able to simply

right-click to perform actions on a group without the additional click in

this new context menu.  This makes accurately moving groups of parts

difficult, as the group snaps to where your mouse cursor is when you click

Move:Group in that menu.

Love EAGLE!  One of the best pieces of software I've ever used!

I know what you're talking about. I'm afraid you can't turn off the

context menus. A way I have found to move objects precisely is to use

the properties command. When you open the properties command you can

    see

the exact coordinates at which the component is located. By modifying

these coordinates you can very precisely locate your components.

That's poppycock!  Warren had it right.  You can use the "set" command to

change some of the low level behaviour like this one.  The first thing I do

when I install EAGLE 5 is to do this to get the EAGLE 4 behaviour back for

applying a function to a group.

There is also one there to reset the cursor position when you have that

case so you don't lose your position by using the menu.  But I prefer the

EAGLE 4 method.  If I selected a group then I'm doing it to apply a

function to that group.  You can use the Ctrl key to get the right-click

menu back if you need it in that case.

    Cheers,

    James.
