generate_3d_data

We are attempting justify purchasing Eagle to out managment,  I have

been trying to get a 3d model for use with solidworks using the

"generate_3d_data" ulp.  I am not yet working with any custom files only

the example files supplied with the install.  To this point every time I

run the ULP I get an error saying that there is no board-outline

defined.  At first I had to go and edit the ULP file to look at layer 20

instead of 50 but this makes no defferance.

Please help:)

    For cut-outs this will not work as described in the documentation (at

    least not with the ulp version I have). If you need cut-outs, define

    the board outline including cut-outs as a library part.

     

    2) for all parts you want to show up as 3 dimensional you need to

    modify the related library to contain the hight informations in layers

    57 (abovethe PCB) and 58 (below the PCB)

    Line width translates to hight as in layer 50 (1mic -> 0.001mm)
