create links in schematic / kann man im Schaltplan links zu Bauteilen erstellen?

Hi @ all,

is it possible to make a "link" to a komponent on a other Schematik-sheet like "Port 12 is on sheet **sheetnumber**?

Vielen Dank

    Good afternoon, Vielen,

You're looking for a crossreference label.

In the Eagle command line, type "label xref" and click on the end of the

net that goes to the other page.  While placing the xref label, a right

    click will spin it around.

I know enough German to order a beer - that's about it.  But I do have

    Google Translate at my disposal.

    Guten Tag, Vielen,

    HTH,

    Hello Chuck Huber

    manny thanks for your answert.

I know the command "lable xref" to find out the next place of a signal. But my idea wars to find Pins from a "multipin-plug" where are shared on different sheets.

For example: You have a Plug with 10 Pins... Pin 1 on Sheet 3 , Pin 2 on Sheet 8, Pin 3 on Sheet 1956 ;-) and so on. In my dokumentation i want to have a Sheet with a list, where are thease Pins.

You know what i mean? ... Lable for Pins, not for Signal-Lines

I have find out, i can make a list with the comand " invoke 'Plug' " , but then i have a static sheet. When i move a Pin to a other place, then i have to create a new summary / compendium with invoke

    Best Regards

    trixi

PS: You can write in english... i can understand it, but it is difficult to me to write it :-)

Ah.  I understand.  The short answer is that I know of no way to achieve

this.  A workaround that has served me well in the past is to have all

the pins for the connector on the same sheet, in fact, in close

proximity on the same sheet.  Then the connections to each pin have a

short net with a cross reference to another sheet.

One of the reasons for approaching it this way is that questions that

pop up during testing and assembly are usually of the nature of "what

signal is on pin 3", "... on pin 4", and so on.  Having all the pins in

the same locale makes it easy to see which one is ground, which one is

power, etc..  One does not have to fish through sheets of schematic

    diagrams to find pin X.

I have find out, i can make a list with the comand " invoke 'Plug' " ,

but then i have a static sheet. When i move a Pin to a other place, then

i have to create a new summary / compendium with invoke

This is part of the reason for having all the pins for a connector in

    the same vicinity.

But don't take just my word for it.  Try it both ways.  See what suits

you better.  Most likely, you will be sharing the schematic with others

(coworkers, your customer) so be sure to get their input as well.

    HTH,

        - Chuck

You want a net(xref) vs page overview. Ive seen other tools do that for

    page connectors.

Its very easy to write an ULP to do it, but it won't live update.

PS:Technically xrefs aren't really page connectors, although they do

    look like that.
