Simple question about editing pads

trinewton
trinewton over 9 years ago

I've been trying to edit the spacing/position of the pads on this example .brd file-

http://www.instructables.com/files/orig/FG0/FRGD/I4PHX5J0/FG0FRGDI4PHX5J0.brd

And though I have accidentally modified the traces plenty of times, I have no way to modify the pads in the center.

So my question is- how can I edit, and more specifically, redimension and move already existing pads in a board file?

Your parts (devices) in the centre are BLK-MD-SPK-B with a package of

the same name in a library (same name). (I don't know what is is

    supposed to be)

Devices one cannot  change in schematic or board. They must be edited in

the library, or one must create a new device that fits the suits.

Also a package has a body and a name/value. just check a package in an

eagle library to see what is necessary to make a correct device.
