Re: Library for SOIC

I'm trying out the freeware version of this software. Trying something very simple to get started.

Can't seem to be able to add a simple SOIC package to my schematic. Did the search thing

after clicking "ADD." Are there some hidden libraires for this simple stuff? I was able to see

this package while in the layout editor. That's not gonna help.

Thanks in advance!

Maybe you have not "USE"D all the libraries.   In the control panel

window the library should appear with a green circle next to the

filename if it is used in the design.
