Create package from autocad 2012 to eagle 5.11.0

Greating for all

I have a problem. I made a package of an integrated circuit in autocad 2012.

Here is the package (every color represent one layer).                http://dl.dropbox.com/u/37984244/fotos%20foros/package_autocad.png

I use DXF-Eagle script converter 2.2.3.

Here is the configuration         http://dl.dropbox.com/u/37984244/fotos%20foros/converter.png

Here is the result inside eagle             http://dl.dropbox.com/u/37984244/fotos%20foros/package_eagle.png

My problem is that I need that the green feet appear fill in eagle. but like you see, eagle only take that package like a WIRE!!!!, not like  a SMD feet.

Thanks for your help. If a I the find the answer I'll tell you here.

    Hi

You should direct your questions to Falk Stricker from who you obtained the

ULP you are using to DXF toEagle. The ULP will have features and limitations

and he as the writer will know the answers.

The SMD pad shapes you are attempting to replicate are not be possible with

v5 without DRC errors, which you could manually approve.

Unless the exercise is to evaluate a DXF to Eagle conversion I would simply

find that package in the encluded libraries (ref-packages.lbr), verify its

    sizing and use that.

    Hi Warren

Thanks for your help. My interest is too be able to plot a milimetric package. I need extremely precision. That's bacause I used autocad.

However, I just cry out the way to make a confortable trace. if  you could recommend me a way to do that, would be great for me... Thanks a lot.

Eagle can represent your package with a resolution (0.1 micon with v5) far

finer than a board house can manufacture so there is no need to use autocad.

Ensure you have learned how to create library parts by doing the tutorials

that are included with Eagle and found in many places on the intenet.

Then create the package you need where  it is  a matter of choosing mm/inch

and a grid appropriate to the scale of your device as determined using it's

    datasheet.

What is the name of the package you are trying to make? I feel sure it will

already exist in the Eagle libraries.

Warrem. Thank you so much.... I don't know what happened with me, but when I tried to fit the grid, eagle never showed it. but with your reflection, all took sense. thanks!!!!!!!!!

    Why do not use

    RUN make-symbol-device-package-bsdl.ulp

You can create a package with the package option.

    Please read also
